
Dr John Meara is Plastic Surgeon-in-Chief of the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Harvard Children’s Hospital in Boston. He is also a Director of the Jigsaw Foundation. On 20 January 2010, a surgical team of 13 doctors, nurses and anaesthetists, led by Dr Meara arrived in Port-au-Prince in Haiti to assist with the medical and surgical care of the those affected by the recent magnitude 7 earthquake.
