Heather Cleland

Heather has extensive experience in general and reconstructive plastic surgery for adults and children. Her primary paediatric areas of interest are in cleft, lip and palate and the management of congenital melanocytic naevi.
Her adult work is in general plastic surgery, including burns, skin cancer and reconstructive microsurgery.
Heather is currently Head of the Department of Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne and she is also the Director of the Victorian Adult Burns Service at the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne.
She is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the Department of Surgery, Monash University and a member of the Court of Examiners, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
